Two Derbyshire based companies have announced a joint sponsorship deal in time for the start of the new GT Cup race season which commenced at Donington Park on Saturday 8 April.

The two companies are Nowcomm, which is the highest certified Cisco Gold Provider (MSP) and provides connectivity, collaboration and cybersecurity services, and Tecserv UK which is based in Underwood on the Notts and Derby border. Tecserv UK specialises in the installation and maintenance of fire and security systems.

The sponsorship arrangement will see Nowcomm branding prominently displayed on race wear clothing and on the Mercedes Benz AMG GT3 driven by Tecserv UK CEO Graham Tilley. There will also be several opportunities for Nowcomm to invite valued clients to enjoy race day corporate hospitality at leading race venues including Silverstone, Snetterton, Oulton Park, and Brands Hatch. The season started at Donington Park on 8/9 April and there are a further seven race fixtures planned for 2022.

Grahame who is now 70, is an experienced racing driver who has raced in many different formulas since he started racing at the age of 18. He is still very competitive and achieves many podium positions.

As amateur drivers, we very much appreciate all sponsorship support as it helps to ensure the GT Cup attracts competitive racing drivers which in turn helps to attract large audiences of spectators.”

The GT Cup is an established part of the UK motorsport scene and continues to grow in stature and popularity. Founded in 2007 by Marc Haynes as a premium GT sprint series, it has continuously proved to be the championship of choice for discerning sporting drivers.
