International Women’s Day – Meet The Women Of Nowcomm
International Women’s Day was inaugurated on 8th March 1910 in Copenhagen to honour the movement for women’s rights and to stand in universal solidarity with women who face struggles, hardship and inequality across the world.
Why is this important to Nowcomm?
Nowcomm has always iterated that we are built on the strength, hard work and dedication of all our employees. Our growing successes over the years was underpinned by the brilliant people who work tirelessly to deliver complex projects and solutions to our end-users. Equality and fair treatment underpins Nowcomm’s ethos, which is why we want to shed light on the great work women have contributed to technology and innovation.
In solidarity with International Women’s Day we’d like to celebrate the women who have helped built Nowcomm to reach its position today. We’re incredibly proud to make Nowcomm a place where individuals can thrive in any role and any skill regardless of gender.

Meet Aisha | Network Engineer | 1 month
Aisha is a recent addition to our network engineering team and works on the service helpdesk to support customer’s network! We’re pleased to support Aisha’s journey at Nowcomm and help her to develop existing and new skills so she can become the great engineer we know she is!
Meet Alison | Account Director | 5 years
Alison is an Account Director and looks after several of Nowcomm’s customers to develop and support their IT Strategy through Nowcomm solutions. If you have a requirement or a pain point you need a solution to, Alison is your person.
Meet Anaaf | Marketing Executive | 1 year
Anaaf is a member of the Nowcomm in-house marketing team looking after social, blog content, PR and communications as well as supporting on-going marketing campaigns across the whole business.
Meet Corinne | Customer Relationship Executive | 4 years
Corinne sits between the sales, finance and technical teams to ensure customer orders, invoices and POs are processed smoothly. Corinne supports the sales team to ensure customers are happy with our services and works closely with Cisco to ensure we are delivering the best value to our customers.
Meet Dawn | Project Manager | 1 year
Dawn works closely with the technical and sales team to ensure that complex projects are being delivered against pre-agreed service level agreements. She designates Nowcomm’s engineering resources to get projects completed on time and to the excellent standards we work to.
Meet Louise | Network Engineer | 6 months
Louise is a network engineer who works on our service helpdesk team and supervises the development of internal customer management systems. Louise has two CCNA’s (Cisco certified qualifications) in Routing & Switching and Security. We’re incredibly excited to support Louise and see where her career and development takes her.
Meet Nisha | Finance Manager | 7 years
Nisha handles all internal financial tasks as well as processing POs, invoices and orders for customer projects and support cases. She works closely with Cisco and internal sales and technical teams to ensure the right items are ordered for each project. The cakes and sweet treats she brings are a bonus.
